Welcome to S. S. Khalsa Sr. Sec. School, Lajpat Nagar Part-IV, New Delhi
The school was founded as a co education primary school in 1908 at Chakwal District Jehlum, now in Pakistan. In 1916 it became a full-fledged High School. Its building was majestic and it had its own Boarding House with more than 250 boarders.

The School is run by a Charitable Society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 bearing No.S-668/54. The Society is dedicated to providing free education to poor children without any bias towards cast, creed or religion.
The School has been declared as a Minority Educational Institution covered under section 2(g) of the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions Act, 2004 by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, Government of India, New Delhi.
The School is registered as a charitable institution under the provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961 – Section 12A (a) under Unique Registration Number AABTS4533KE20215. The school is also compliant with the conditions of C.S.R. under the Companies Act, 2013.
Donations to the School are exempt in the hands of the donors under the provisions of Section 80G(5)(vi) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 by Unique Registration Number AABTS4533KF20213.
The school has been making rapid progress in the field of Academics, Games and Sports, Extra Curricular Activities, Cultural and Social aspects of life etc. The Academic results have been outstanding with a number of distinctions, merits and honors.
In games and sports the school has collected gold, silver and bronze medals in the National School games, in addition to the various state Championships.
The school offers free education to both boys and girls of the lower income strata of society and does not charge any fee. Scholarship for books and uniforms are also provided to needy students as found necessary. In addition meritorious students are awarded with monthly scholarships. Great emphasis is placed on all round development of Children with sports and cultural activities along with periodic lessons in moral science and discipline.
School Building

The School is located in the heart of South Delhi.
The school building was initially constructed in the year 1954 and thereafter three additional Blocks were added between 1954 to 1960. The present building is spread over an area of about 3 acres and consists of 36 classrooms, seminar room, four science laboratories, staff rooms, a library and office along with a play ground, canteen and book shop to cater to the needs of the students.
